Nostalgia Pro Stock Association Empty Nostalgia Pro Stock Association

Post  Moodyblues May 28th 2015, 9:58 am

I was looking into joining the Nostalgia Pro Stock Association and thouht that might bne a great idea.............until I read the rules.  Manually shifted tranny.   Class is limited to 711 CI????  When did those ol pro stockers run engines that big, I thought most of them ran small blocks?

Anyway it is a pretty neat deal, out of my price range I guess with all the mods required.    I was thinking of maybe doing my cart in Dyno Don dress.

Have you ever looked at the NDRL? The guy doing my sheet metal in my car runs with these guys. He's pretty satisfied with the league and loves the atmosphere. I may give it a crack next year once I have all the bugs worked out of my car.

isn't the NDRL a NHRA sanctioned event???? seems like I read somewhere that Paul Kane was fighting them about the 385 bore spacing???

Just read through the NDRL, and then the NHRA rules supplement. Top fuel cars, 4.840 bore center.. NDRL is a regionalized racing sanction using NHRA National nostalgia rules.

Doesnt look too bad. I would only probably travel to the Bowling Green events. I would prefer something in the south.

Live in AZ....  outside the NHRA event, nothing drags the trailer here  for sanctioned  racing.
