Go Kart Tires!!!!!!! Arrg

My kid has a go Kart with those little slicks on it. They are about 10 years old and allways losing air. I figured I would just throw a tube inside and be done with it.....wrong! Broke the bead on a arbor press.scratched the crap out of the rim. Slipped a new tube on and busted the rim putting the tire back on.. Now I find they make a tool for that.
I watch these kids tear the tires off and remount them in a minute! Tool me 2 hours and I ruined everything! Hahahah
Long story short is the tires are too stiff from being old. Ebay here I come.
Anyone change these before?

Aren't the two wheel halves bolted together?

I know they make 2 piece wheels but these are one unit. I found some on ebay that will work and they are mounted.

I had a racing kart the tires on them alum.rims where a pain to change and I had the little bead braker and 2 tire spoons made for them I had to take the tires off from the backside. I have busted a rim they ant made out of much.

We have 3 carts but all have 2 pc. steel wheels and use tubes. You might try "Go kart Galaxy" on the web they have lots of rims and stuff.
