The tracks are awful around here this time of yr. Most aren't anything to write home about anyway. With the temps around 100 deg. in the day and track temp in the high 130's it's just not a good time to test. You have about two good hours from say 8 pm to 10 pm then the dew falls. It is so humid here that it is almost like rain. It should start to improve toward the end of the month.

Ward your luck sounds like mine when I do get a chance to go it usually rains I know what you mean about the summer months with the heat just to hot. Last summer when I went time I got back to the pits I would be soaking wet with sweat couldn't get the fire suit off quick enough.

If its not too bad plan on trying again this sat. They are giving rain thru fri.

Not much info on the track's website. What time do you plan to be there?

I think gates open at 3 pm. It is a pretty good grudge race. I'm not sure what all the have going on. They have a good race. We go most yrs. it is a good set up to get track time. I'll prob be there around 4 or 430.

Looks like I'll make it as well. Tough getting to a track when you work on call, but it looks like I'll safe until early morning tomorrow.

Enjoined seeing everybody. Wish it would have been a better day. Got the car back out. Found a problem with the shifter. But then the rains came. We waited a bit. The track was still wet at 9. Looked like more rain on way so we came on in.

It was nice to hang out with everybody again....
