My 3v crankshaft pulley has 9 holes drilled next to each other, probably for balancing? Seems to me that it was drilled as part of the rotating assembly. Don't know because it came off of the '69 429 engine that came in the car when I got it in '97 (a '64 Galaxie). I blew the 466 motor that I replaced the 429 with, which was balanced and suspect that the fore mentioned 3v pulley and/or the old harmonic damper might have played a part in it's distruction?!! My new rotating assembly came from Adney/Randy, which is balanced, of course. I want to get a new pulley kit to make darn sure I cover all the bases and this motor stays together. I run an alternator and power steering pump both of which I had to alter the position to match the crankshaft pulley. The old pulley has 3v grooves that measure 7", 6" and 6 1/2" at the bottom of the grooves. I really need some help to try to clear this mess up Embarassed , please.

I checked March, would you suggest the 3 pulley kit #1830 crank pulley 2v, W/P pulley 1v, nose cover 1v or #1850 crank 3v W/P 2v nose 1v?

That's up to what accessories you want to run.
