Had a small block with toploader 4 spd in it when I got it, '71 429 swapped into it by summer '83. Bought the 429 and c-6 trans for around $150.00, then swapped a 9" rear axle assembly to replace the 8". Car was originally meadowlark yellow, car was painted wimbledon white with painted mach 1 style stripes in 1974. Car is actually a "deluxe fastback"

I have always liked the '69 Mustangs. My wife has been jealous for 28 years and counting. Ha ha. She and her father "suggested" I sell it soon after we got married. Didn't happen. ....
