Is the displacement dictated by rules/weight breaks? Where will the car be running?

Re: 560 C460 Build/Dyno UPDATE
No, class rules did not dictate the cubic inch. I had the heads, some used pistons, and a crankshaft. I need an engine until my 640" billet headed deal is done.
My home tracks are Mid-Michigan Motorplex and US131 MSP. But I will be running some OSCA races and Milan Outlaw 632 with this. And whatever else I can find that it fits in, including some fast brackets.

Re: 560 C460 Build/Dyno UPDATE
Those are the ones. I've made a few changes to them over the years, but same basic design. The new engine will be 640", valve sizes in the head are 2.650" x 1.850" will have just over 1.100" lift. Looking to make 1500-1550hp with it.
I'm actually going to be putting this 560" deal back on the dyno here in a few weeks. A few minor changes to it, id like to be closer to the 1300hp mark with it. I think I can get close, but not sure if I can cross that mark without a piston change.

That's a big piston! What block are you going to use? 4.9" BS?

That's awesome, I thought you might build it on an aluminum block.

Re: 560 C460 Build/Dyno UPDATE
Could you put that head on a 4.650" bore with those valve sizes?

Re: 560 C460 Build/Dyno UPDATE
Yes, it will fit on as small as 4.625" any smaller than that, the intake valve needs to go down to 2.600"
Re: 560 C460 Build/Dyno UPDATE
Can I borrow this motor to get my Torino into the low 9's just once??

Re: 560 C460 Build/Dyno UPDATE
Changed rocker arms, springs, and cam timing. Now I'm fairly certain the carbs are too small.
