Mega 200 Delay Box Question Empty Mega 200 Delay Box Question

Post  t-bird racer July 30th 2017, 9:16 am

Good Morning All,

I have a question regarding my Mega 200 delay box.

1. If I'm running Top, with cross talk on, and I'm the slower car I know I don't have to put my E.T in to the box
just my delay.

2. If I'm the faster car, I put in My ET, Opponents ET, the amount of reaction delay and the box makes the calculations.

Now my question.

In a gamblers type race where cross talk is OFF.  My opponents Has a (N) next to his dial in, where cross
talk will be turned off.

How do I set my Box?

1.  I'm assuming that if i'm the slower car there would be no issue. Just add my reaction delay.

2.  If  i'm the faster car, do I just put my delay in and leave off of my top bulb, because the tree is taking care
of the difference?  Or do I have to figure out the difference between my car and my opponents?

Thanks for the help.

Is there a blinder on the tree? If so, enter NO e.t. for your opponent and leave on your own top bulb.
If there's no blinder, enter your opponent's e.t. and leave on HIS top bulb...the way we did before crosstalk was introduced.

Yes the tree has a blinder, and the bulbs are turned.

Looks like you're stuck with your own top bulb. But when you think about it, it's really no different than using crosstalk...just omit your opponent's dial.
