I have seen a big block Ford in a 1965 full size Chevy and even one in a Corvette so, I can only presume that it would fit even better with the high hood line of a tri-five Chevy.

Funny Story (in an ironic sort of way): Van once installed a 460/C6 into a 1963 split window Corvette at his shop, for his wife, test fired it, went through the gears with his foot on the brake, turned the car off, and went home. got one in my '57 150 2-door post. 4r100 behind it, 3.89 geared 9". made a lot of friends with it.
