Catch can or pcv recomdations

What should I run in my valve cover breathers?
ME/ Wagner makes custom.pcv valves or should I tie in a catch can?

Finally got my engine running in the car.
547 10.5 compression street motor
Engine makes 7 pounds of vacuum.

Run a regular PCV system as on O.E.M. Ford vehicles of the 80's.

I use one of those valves , works well

That's fairly low vacuum and if it's an auto trans that probably goes down another couple inches when dropped in gear so I would stick with a PCV from an application with similar poor vacuum.There's probably a Ford equivalent but I use the PCV from from an early Camaro with the DZ302 (Fram 178,I think).I tried a couple others but this one worked best.Not only is the internal spring very weak to ensure it closes completely at idle but it had the least vacuum drop at idle of the ones I tried.Smaller passages inside maybe?I was curious but never did cut one open to see if the pintle inside is different.I also install a small separator (similar to this https://www.tooldiscounter.com/product/milton-mini-filter-1-4-inch-npt-mils-1144) inline to clean up the air entering the intake.Prior to installing the separator there was a big stain inside the intake where the PCV enters.Scrubbed it clean,installed the separator and almost all that smearing disappeared forever.Your new engine will generate some extra goo till it's broken in so keep an eye on the accumulator or it will fill up and start puking particulate into the intake.

Vacuum in the crankcase is always better than pressure.

Sorry.Phrased that poorly.Just to clarify.Agree with the sarcasm;however,the Milton separator I bought is a China piece packaged for them but sold at a US made,premium price point.

And I have a Leeds vacuum pump for the brakes but don't think it would be good to use it for anything else.
Sounds like just a weak spring and maybe a filter to run for a while
