If the Strategic Reserve is for emergencies ( ie war/natural disaster ,ect. ) and may not be able to be replenished in the near future, it does not seem like a good idea to massively deplete it for cheap summer vacations and political brownie points? Could it be going overseas for a Strategic Emergency there? They are getting the reward by the mere fact we are not using oil from other places, so that they can.
