Below is a 506HP Dynoed camshaft, when used with their heads and intake. It should make good HP with a CJ top end and compression.
Edelbrock Performer RPM. 234/244/108/.556/.581

Same Cam kit a little cheaper.

The problem with most of the Big Block Ford heads is around .540"/.550" lift is you have to cut the valve guides so the valve seals don't get crushed.
There are very few BBF shelf cams in stock now.
In my opinion there never were many shelf grinds under or at .540" lift that were of a big improvement over the CJ and SCJ cams, without cutting the Guides. The tighter LSA offered by the cam companies in my opinion was their strong point, especially when many owners were taking compression out of them to run on lower octane pump gas.
As said Randy can grind you a custom cam to get around the lift issue and taylor it to you setup.
Is the engine in the car and running now?
Still Original Q-Jet and Intake?

Re: Cam for cobrajet
The 429CJ hydraulic cam C9AZ-6250-C is a pretty good piece.
I personally like the CompCams "Specialty" camshaft 34-244-4 / 268AH-10 for your type requirements.
268/276 @.006" - 222/226@.050" - ,535"/.535" valve lift - 110 separation but, in this day and age, (with the unavailable core issue), you will get whatever is close that you can get.
The Howard's Cam number 240041-12 is only slightly bigger than that and is a really good cam for your type situation, also.
EDIT: I have used both of these cams with good success.
I will never recommend anything which I have not actually used although, there may be other stuff out there like it.

Re: Cam for cobrajet
You can get a lot out of the lower lift Stock and Super Stock type cams. The below is a 1970 Torino 429 SCJ at 12.56 in the 1/4. That is why I suggested a custom grind.

Back in the day Erson had some good .545" dual pattern cams. E260520 and E26721. Same cams one had 5 degree's advance cut in. Electric page 140 Actual page 138.
