D0VE-A Block HP & 1/4 Mile records
Hello Everyone,
I am sure to one degree or another, this topic has been explored but I wanted to start a thread of my own. I am curious to see if anyone knows what the 1/4 mile record and HP record is for a D0VE-A block? I have seen quite a few engines over the last few years make records with "stock" blocks (Coyotes, 2JZ, VR38, LS, etc.) and I was unaware of what the limits (if they have been tested) are for the 385 series? Can anyone provide some information?
Thanks,
Jim

I would say it was Erica's D0VE Block 498 with SCJ Aluminum Heads in the 6's at over 200 MPH.

Any 385 Series passenger car block? Or must it be a D0VE for some reason?4speed390 wrote:Hello Everyone,

I think the assumption is that since D0VE-A blocks are thought to be the strongest OEM blocks that they would hold the records.Paul Kane wrote:Any 385 Series passenger car block? Or must it be a D0VE for some reason?4speed390 wrote:Hello Everyone,
