Mike and I are headed to the track tonight for some last minute testing before the Bash. I hope the track is in decent shape Test & Tune Tonight Icon_rolleyes so I can tell whether or not the changes I made are a working improvement. Test & Tune Tonight Icon_cheers

That's putting it mildly Test & Tune Tonight Lol . We wanted to go to a good track like Silver Dollar or Twiggs, but I have an 85th birthday party to go to this afternoon for my step Mom that I can't miss. I just hope the trip to the Bash doesn't turn in to an expensive test and tune.

Well that was a total freaking waste of time and money. We made two passes and have no times to post because they where having technical difficulties Test & Tune Tonight Icon_scratch with the timing system, something to do with batteries and they had someone going somewhere to get some. The only technical difficulty I see is they are all f*%king brain dead Test & Tune Tonight Icon_rolleyes . Any who it appears the suspension changes I made are working and the new files I made for the MSD are working pretty good. I was hoping we could get enough passes in so I could play around more with the shock settings and tire pressures. Mike said it felt a little lazy on the first pass so I step it up. Second pass looked better, but I can't say for sure without a 60' time. Here's the video. I'm pissed Test & Tune Tonight Icon_mad .

Nick, the track surface wasn't to bad last night, we haven't had any bad weather here to speak of. He only opens the place two weekends a month now. The problem there is the way they manage the place. The gates open at 3pm, and they don't start running until 6pm, so they had 3 hours to check out the timing system to see if all was okay and fix it if it wasn't. Bunch of idiots. Like I said earlier we want to go to another track, but yesterday just wasn't possible. Mike and talked about it last night and decided that after the Bash we're going to go check out Twiggs. It's a 2 hour drive, but they just spent several million on renovating the place and we haven't heard anything negative about it. So, if they run it like they have some common sense we will start going there. Knock on wood.

That place looks WAY better then I remember it. Then again, it's been awile. Cars looking good.
