I'm guessing not quite as fast as Doug had it going........yet.

Like I said before, all that you have to do to qualify is have a truck with the Ford on the front to qualify for membership. Engine don't matter, age don't matter. This ain't no sissy, uppity, crybaby, club. It's a TRUCK MAFIA, just for kicking the crap out of all the other no good wanna be truck brands. Show no mercy. Jason, I love that black late 70's F150 in the top pic, that is one cool looking truck.

If someone tries to sneak in something other than what Ford installed in them, they are gonna have to deal with The ENFORCER. Well I have 5 Ford pickups 3 with 460s, 5 vans one 460 and one 429, one 460 rollback, 3 mustangs one with 460..
And I don't even let my neighbors park their chebys in their driveways. I makem park 1/2mil. down the road

schmitty, you know i can't put a stock motor in anything. i'm putting the 460 that i built for my mud truck in it. i'm actually scrapping the mud truck since i have to go so far to race it. they aren't doing it in billings anymore so, its going by by. by the way, hows your impact working

That's what it's all about, do what you can with what's available to you. I have a dragstrip about 45min away from me, and if I didn't have mud drags closer I would be into the pavement thing too. Have fun with the Nanner, it does have quite a fan base/cheering squad here.

You gonna go race at the same tracks that Doug races at?

probably, acton if they restart it and lewistown. thats the plan anyway. doug and i are going to try to meet up next weekend so i can get the truck. then i can get my engine in it and get it lit off before snow fly

I'm in doubt as to weather Acton will be open for much more than they were this year. Just enough to be a thorn in the side of the other tracks. As long as they let jerk-water's like Dennis McMeyer, (or whatever his name is) run it, I'll never race there either. I do hope they can find a good owner, and get it going though. I hate to see a multi-million dollar facility just sitting there going to waste. As far as Lewistown & Lost Creek go, until they do somethin' to better their pits, so the racer's don't have to keep breakin' out the touch-up paint due to all the rocks. The tracks themselves are fine, but until they both hard top their pits, I'll never race at either one again. Makes me kinda glad I sold the Banana. IF and I mean IF I do another rig, I'll drive the extra 100 miles and race in Spokane a couple times a year & do the Mega Ford Weekend in Mission, B.C. vs. race at the "local" gravel pits.

I just got to thinking after reading a post by Torkair in Doug's thread, should we include the Ranchero's in the Truck Mafia? They are Blue Oval and have a tailgate and open bed, so they are a "truck" as such.
