Thats a big pond i could go to China from there Shocked thats the indian river bay in Delaware, that body of water our house is on is called pepper creek. When your on the roof you can look to the right of the dock and see the bay for miles, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes across the bay to get to the ocean depending on how fast your flying across the water Twisted Evil I bet some on here could do it in less with the 385 powered boats i've seen on here before Shocked

My late Grandfather came up with a suspension bridge type of dock years ago. Nothing was in the water. All it was was two steel rooftruses. They were mounted in a cement anchor on the shore with a hinge. Then a simple suspension arch (C4 channel steel), mounted on the cement. Plywood mounted on the trusses. Then cables mounted to the end of the trusses, and over the top of the arch on pulleys. Finnally the cables mounted to a crank in the cement. It could even be raised for winter time,,very light too. He made a bunch for the local neighbors. He never pattened it. 2 years later he saw them for sale somewhere. Go figure Rolling Eyes
