Transmission Education Empty Transmission Education

Being rather new to working on cars, transmissions specifically, I am finding that as I read many of the threads I have no clue as to what anyone is talking about. Is there a good place to read up on transmissions, the names of transmission components, what those components do and stuff like that?

Thanks,
Keith Question

If you read something on here and don't understand it, just ask and someone will probably make sure you fully understand. A member "badshoe" has some video's that are supposed to be good, maybe you can get one of his video's.
