528 tear down

I bought a 528 short block recently that has only dyno time on it. The block is painted black and it's looking pretty tacky, lots of chips and dirty from sitting around for 2 years. My plan is to disassemble it and have it hot tanked so it will be nice and clean for a proper Ford blue repaint. I'm going to use a XR292 roller cam and I'm wondering if I should have the wide cam bearings installed and will it be alright to reuse the rings. This will be a Blue Thunder headed 13 to 1 motor on E-85.
