Howdy! You run at Milan at all?

i have run at milan we stop there on dragweek last year it was raining in the morning they waited till noon but it didnt hook for siht i was 12.20 there made 9 passes till i got a 11.70 and then we got c in a storm from hell had to drive 300 miles to pitt. penn. to race there on the way i broke a push rod in the middle of noware one of the big dogs running dragweek pull up asked if i needed help i said do you have 8.750 push rod he said i got 8.775 handed two out the window i was on the road 20 minutes later what a story one good thing it stop raining for about a hour right after i got the truck going it started again

Welcome to The Forum. I am pleased to read your experiences with Drag Week. I am so impressed with how the participants and spectators 'watch your back' during Drag Week and Power Tour. All participates are off their 'tuff' and people step up to offer help to each other. Someone that you never met and did not know, stopped and offered parts. On Power Tour, you could not pull over to take a leak without a dozen cars stopping to see if they could help. In route to Power Tour, we stopped to support someone with a leaking soft plug. In a Warren motel parking lot, several people helped change out a failed rear end. It took several people due to beer in one hand and wrench in the other. But each one took their turn with the weapon of choice and that orange '32 Ford Coupe finished Power Tour, the Dragon's Tail, and home to Toronto. These were not isolated cases, this kind for support was witnessed everyday. That kind of comrodery is way cool!! Both of these events are on my calendar every year. My car is not Drag Week competitive but I will still be along for the RIDE! Take care.
