where the best place to get cam bearing installation kit

just looking to get some info about a tool to install my bearings.

Any good name brand kit will be ok. I used a Snap On deal to put mine in. Just make sure it has a guide to center the shaft so you put the bearings in straight.

I have a Lisle kit. Worked good for me a few months ago when I started putting mine together. It was my first time doing it and it came out fine. One thing to watch is making sure that the bearings actually ride on the cam journals. I had to move a few after I thought they were in the right spot...

I had one made at the machine shop that pulled the bearing through, instead of beating it in.

You just have to be different don't ya!!!

Well, not really. But I use it to install roller cam bearings, and you are in big trouble if you beat them in. Works great on standard bearings as well.

X2 That the same kind I have just watch the rubber o-rings if one get some missing peaces change it or you take a chance of messing the bearing up.If you going to store it for a while grease the o-rings up good to keep the o-rings from dying out.
