Alky and Nitrous .....the I-S way .....

saw this intake on Steve's site .....looks sweet for a bbc

hmmmmmmmm, might need to do that on my next little iron I have in the fire..................

is that an alky or gas enrichment for the spray?

Jon from what i heard he is going to try alky enrichment ....... not sure

from my opinion i would enrinch with gas my thoughts are is the alky is already so cold adding nitrous in that mix would be very heard to tune in my opinion

I would not think the cold is the problem . I would lean more toward an over rich condition caused by the injection pump . You would just have to be on the money with where your base injection tune up is and on the lean side. Its a lot simpler to inject nitro methane and not worry about all those heavy bottles and plumbing . Oh and its still considered naturally aspirated

I may add a system to mine once my budget recovers from this build. Nitrous Express makes a kit just for alky. Plate system that goes up to 500 hp. It uses alky for enrichment and they say they have special solenoids just for the methanol. I'll run it with an electric pump as my car came with a good Aeromotive pump already installed up front. Simple to hook up, plus all the plumbing, wiring, timers, etc are already there.
