I bought some aluminum plates for it, and as soon as I got them on and dropped the car back down on the ground, the jacked dropped all at once and when the car hit the ground it bent both plates................ It only dropped about 6 inches.

I made the ones you see in the pic out of 1/2 inch steel plate.

NO cant make it to the NMRA...........my junk is down on compression. Got a aluminum rod 499 I am going to put together with some TFS streets. My car will still easily run the 6.0 index class at brainerd and I will probably be there. Thinking of heading to Section Friday night (9/16), nice folks up there.

I ran a new best time last night, and best 60 ft and mph.

5.52 1.220 60 ft 125.48 mph. The car is a bunch faster than with the old motor E.T.wise, but has yet to run as good a mph.

Been talking to Fabio, Lem and da Coon, and thinking it is slipping the converter on the top end.

I'm running a TH 10 - 04 PTC converter.................

Anybody have any thoughts about this?
