Stock harmonic balancer bolt HEAD size?

Help me, I'm in the midst of a brain-fart. Not surprising, I know, but still, I can't remember it to save my life.

some are 7/8.

Thanks guys, it has to be a 15/16 because I do not have a socket that size and usually just use a metric socket that is close. I needed to get a box end wrench to fit it and did no want to guess!

Not STOCK, production one's ... LOL.

I got some aftermarket ones here which are just 3/4" with a flange but, THEY aren't stock.

guess i got lucky and more than one that was'nt STOCK! would a 351 or 400 have a 7/8 head and fit a 460?

That's what mine is, 71 429 internal balance by the way...And that is the the stock one.

No clue Could be luck haha, I know its a 7/8 head though.

Let's say it another way......."most" are 15/16" .

That's the only thing that would make me think it ain't original, but I pulled this motor apart and knew what it looked like inside and out, I don't think anything was rebuilt man it was bad, but you are correct...
