distributer gear requirements

how do you know whether your cam needs a brass gear? I am ready to fire a BBC with a bullit roller cam and cannot contact bullit till monday. Do only billet cams require bronze? What happens when you run steel gears on billet cams?

THE BBC is the problem most people on here are the BBF but to answer your ? I don't know

With a billet cam........I'd run a bronze gear.
