top lube for alcohol

on a alcohol motor what is the best top lube you guys are running

I have tried them all. I use Klotz Uplon KL-107. It's fully synthetic and leaves less residue in the ports compared to Power Plus, etc. I used to get it from a Kart racing supply house, but now Summit carries it. I do mix it at half the recommended does. 1/2 bottle per 55 gallon drum on methanol.

EDIT: I wanted to edit my spelling mistakes and ended-up quoting the post. Sorry for the repeat posting.

I use no lube with injection, with a carb the Klotz uplon is the best I have found, and as David said use half of what they tell ya to use.

The Redline stuff is good to.

i'v been using grape because it smells purdy

I use redline now. I used the vanilla kind for a while but I swapped it for no valid reasons

I dont know about top lube for alcohol but I ran powermist racing fuels for about 4 years exclusively. good stuff

im going alcohol on this motor,, hope i like it..heard horry stories about milking the oil down..etc..

carb or injection? you may change your oil a few times to start with but when you get it tuned in it'll be fine.a vacuum pump is your best friend too and when you start it make sure you heat it up good.

Is the alcohol you are going to use Methanol or Ethanol?
Their requirements are very different as far as top lube goes and what is compatible.

The ones milking the oil aint doing it right lol.

Power Plus from Manhattan Oil for me. I have tried others and been grossed out by the smell.
My pump, tank and fittings are seeming to last forever. Some of my parts have been in service since the early 1990's. I am loyal to the stuff. Summit has it for about $10.

power plus with a carb always left a real sticky film inside the intake................not sure what caused it and never had any fuel side issues with it but that stuff it left was bothersome.

No top lube seems to work good for me.........
