Two Sets Brand New TRW L2443NF-60 0.060" Pistons

Two sets of TRW L2443 0.060" overbore pistons, brand new in box with all paperwork, instructions, pin clips, etc. These are standard valve layout pistons and are designed to be used with cylinder heads that have the standard valve layout (C8VE-A, C8VE-E, C9VE-A, D0VE-A, D0VE-C, D0OE-R, D1VE-AA, D2VE-AA, D2VE-A2A, D3VE-A2A, D8TE-EA, E6TE-EA, Edelbrock aluminum, TFS Street/Strip (not A460), A429 aluminum (not SCJ aluminum), Blue Thunder (not Thor), etc.



Both sets are brand spanking new and 100% complete. Please note that over the years there have been several variations of these pistons (skirt length; pin clip groove type; ring type; valve pocket depth; country of manufacture; etc.) and these two american-made sets offered here are each complete original sets and are by far the best version of the L2443s ever made.

(The current Speed-Pro L2443s are made in India and many people are experiencing quality issues with them. Further, the offshore L2443's don't have the preferred pin clip groove design.)

The first set is as-manufactured:



Approximate compression ratio with these pistons in a 10.300" deck block would be as follows:

• 95cc chamber = 11:1
  
• 75cc chamber = 13.6:1
  
• 70cc chamber = 14.5:1

The second set has been machined to a 0.100" dome top.



Approximate compression ratio with these pistons in a 10.300" deck block would be as follows:

• 95cc chamber = 10.6:1
  
• 75cc chamber = 13:1
  
• 70cc chamber = 13.75:1

Including their "handling fee," Summit currently wants about $523-579 per set shipped, and that is for the lesser quality made-in-India pistons with the less desirable features. I value these pistons at a price greater than the current retail pricing of the cheapo ones but will offer them as follows:
