drain holes in clutch drum

Post  manofmerc on July 24th 2011, 5:40 am

I purchased a drilled clutch drum from broader performance .It gave me the best 2-3 shift I have had .I had to go through my trans and new clutchs seals etc. were used .The only other thing was this drilled clutch drum .It had a better shift than before ..And they arent expensive either .$80 without shipping .And as Mr.Frank says .Everything runs cooler .Doug

I hope you have a little time on your hands. It took PATC 3 weeks to send me a Fairbanks "R" servo that was in stock and thats with "expedited" shipping. I sent 3 separate emails with no response so I called and I was told "I don't know why it hasn't shipped yet but we'll get it out, hopefully tomorrow" two days later I recieved it. Good Luck... Todd

Try jay again. He's been real busy and purchased the remains of Art Carr in Texas (not sure if at was parts or equipment). He's been busy moving all that stuff and getting settled in. I've had a TCI valvebody down there for 3 weeks and he called late friday(5:30 pm,he closes at 12:00 on fridays) and left me a message that it was in need of a lot of work and explained why i was burning up my trans in 4 runs. He's a 1 man shop and his quality is top notch.
