loses 6 lbs of rotating weight and if you know how a C6 works it makes real sense , in 2nd it's held by the band and on the 2-3 shift it needs to go to engine speed from a dead stop , which ?will get to engine speed first an aluminum drum at 3 lb's or a stock drum at over 9 lb's !!

Well, lets say including initial tooling and startup these things cost Frank $500 each to make.
That is only really 40 of them.... I think it was a fair question.

PS the 20K was to get this project going and nothing to do with the cost of the drums

Correct me if I am wrong Frank, but I believe the TCI has only 5-6 clutches which are NOT included for about $800.00 US yours has 7 clutches and comes loaded at $840.00 or $100.00 less than the TCI bare...Sounds like a bargain to me
