v8 springs in fox with stock 460
Is there anyone running v8 springs with iron headed 460. In a track only fox? This only a strip car do I need to just go to coilovers right away, or can I use 90/10's and v8 springs and be fine. Motor is stock with a proform 750 weiand stealth and headers. Stock converter (for now) and 3.73 gears. Anyone have any issues with this setup?

Anyone? Did everyone quit running 460's in mustangs? J/' but awaiting some help. Will this thing transfer weight properly with v8 springs or should I save my pennies and buy a coilover kit?
Thanks

I think you'll be fine with the 5.0 springs and the Cast Iron heads.I still have 4 cylinder springs on the front of my 89 Mustang with a BBF but i have Aluminum heads.

What are you expecting....? I think you rear suspension/tires are gonna make the biggest difference in 60' times. I ran stock v8 springs and had 1.6 60's

I just want the thing to hook and be consistant. As far as the rear strange adjustable shocks fixed upper and lowe control arms and stock springs. I just didn't know with that heavy engine if the stock springd would allow for proper weight transfer.what do you guys use for transmission mount ? I pulled this engine and c6 trans out of a motor home. I have heard there is 2 different length transmissions.
