I promised Charlie I would post when we ran this thing....
The numbers weren't hero stats, but it did make just shy of 1000 hp @7100 and 800 ft lbs @6100..I won't make any excuses,it is what it is...a bracket motor..Many thanks to Lem and Charlie Evans..it ran perfectly,no farts, pops, drips or errors...and sounded really sweet @7400! Laughing

Thanks Brian, and it sounds like you've done a good job. Very Happy Guys, you're looking at a set of C-460 heads which I CNC ported, along with a set of my adapter plates, and then the TFS A-460 tunnel ram bolted on to the plates after they have been port matched to the heads. Curt R. is running a set-up like this on his dragster, but he uses the Killer Ron's toilets on his TFS tunnel ram.

Many of you know Brian as he has raced at the Ford Bash in previous years. He has a burgandy and white Ford Thunderbird, thus his handle "birdracer".

nothing fancy in there..charlies c heads,t&d rockers, bullet roller,A460 block 4.6 bore x 4.5 stroke.flat top Diamond pistons...thinking about it after, there were some factors that contributed to the numbers we got..low crankcase vac,(found a v/c gasket pulled in some afterwards),awful day-93 deg,85 % humidity, lowest baro we have tested at,it was miserable in there..alky injection..but you have to admit it is a handsome engine!
