I'm not sure if that's the same one JW sells, but, I think it is. Pretty well covers it, in my opinion. Money well spent. Cool

IT IS!! Very Happy
I cant put it down!

I had a little hard time myself finding it Nick.
Go www.barnes&noble.com Go to the search, and type HP automotive books.then narrow it down to powerglide handbook. You can search all their branches and order it. Norm is 4 days. While serching, check affilated vendors that are on the website. Their inventory is listed also. One in my state had it, but I didnt want to bother with shipping. (CHEAP-AZZ).

Also, the author carl munros shop www.tsr-racing.com has it in stock.

Yeah, just call your nearest store and order it. That way, no shipping charges.

To make it easier on your bookstore.Just give them the ISBN #978-1-55788-355-1

Regards.

Summit and Jegs have them in stock, it is a very detailed book. I'm sure you can buy it straight from Carl thru his transmission business also. Carl Monroe is great to do business with, I had a problem with my 1.80 straight cut planetary set, and he shipped me another new set overnight air, before I even sent back the bad one. Shocked Very Happy

Has anyone used this book to build their own "glide". I ordered the book and my wife is sending it over here to me. I'll read it in my down time. I have never done an automatic transmission, but what the hell, I can fix a helicopter, right. lol! OK, OK, only sometimes I can fix these darn helicopters.

Being realistic, is the book that detailed, can anyone that is somewhat competent do this? It would save me a bunch of $$$ to do it myself.
