600hp is pretty lame from a 545" motor with 14:1 compression.......... You mean 800+?

The ARP 2000 rod bolts are a worth while upgrade to them.

I ran stock Eagle rods with the bolts they come with for over two years, countless dyno runs Two oop's Embarassed to 8150 rpms and never had a problem 861 hp shifting at 7100..................

You will be alright Cool

i feel that a correctly stretched bolt is as important to life as the bolt you use, overstretch the best rod bolt and failure is likely to happen

retorque is suppost to be ok if they were never overtorqued but i figure a set of bolts at freshen time cant be a bad investment if your pushin the hp

That depends upon how much the overall free length of the bolt grows from original length with no torque applied. Each bolt has a spec for that however, not many people log their original length to begin with, lol.
