can i get hooked

I have a 52 f1 with s10 leafs and caltrac the truck # 3870 has a mild 472 700r4 3500 stall 3.89 gear 275x60x15 mt dr. on motor it hooks ok not great 1.55 1.62 but when i spray and not alot 50hp throttle act. and 150hp .9 sec. out with digset my 60s are 1.90 will the 275 hold with a nose heavy truck or should i get more tire like 315x65x15

Well I will take a WAG that your at your chassis setup's limit running N/A and then your beyond the tire and chassis's limit when your spraying it. Even a small shot at the hit is going to make the converter stall higher from the added torque. So your probably slipping the tires right at the hit and then spinning them when you add more nitrous 0.9 seconds into your run as you claim.

Some video would help us help you. Like I've got posted a couple threads down in this forum. You say your running cal tracs and S10 springs. What kind of suspension system do you have in the front of the truck? What kind of static weight distribution does your truck have? What are you using for shocks? Give us some more info and we can help.

Does it transfer any weight to the rear during the launch or does the front end just stay down? Also, what's the first gear ration on the 700R4?

i will post the video taken sunday the front is subframed with a 78 camaro with monroe matic shocks rear is rancho 9 way adj. set on 4 cal tracs r home made copy set in top hole with 1 turn preload which works ok on motor have done a best of 1.51. trans ratio is 3.06 in the 700r4 here r my et. from sunday motor .077 reaction 1.610 60ft. 7.350 1/8 @ 93.86 11.459 1/4 @ 115.87 nitrous run 50hp .134 reaction 1.739 60ft 7.277 1/8 @ 97.31 11.217 1/4 @122.19 nitrous run 150hp .158 reaction 1.739 60ft. 7.151 1/8 @100.67 10.993 1/4 @ 123.72 these r my best passes other nitrous passes 60ft were bad but did run one at 126 mph
