I really think that they have done a lot for drag racing. It would be a shame to see both ADRL's go away. With the exception of Pro-Mod, the NHRA stuff is not that fun to watch in my opinion. More cars and usually better racing in the Outlaw/ADRL type event. Plus it is pretty cool to see some local people be able to go out and run with the big boys.

Of course Pro-Mod is pretty big in Texas anyway.

They do put on a good show. They're really good for the sport. Maybe they're tired of NHRA's crap and will start their own?? But they probably figured out that spending millions to win thousands is not a profitable venture. It sux whatever it is!

If what I have been hearing for some time is true, then them getting "bored" with drag racing was bound to eventually happen anyway. Supposedly their past involvement in other forms of racing took a similar path. They get involved, built it up, then get bored with it, then leave & move on to another form of racing.

I would hate to see them leave drag racing because the ADRL is one heck of a show. The fact that the ADRL has been around in a big way (& offering racers/fans another option) is probably the only thing that has kept the NHRA from going even more bat-shit money crazy on the racers & fans.

NHRA can go with them IMO.
