12-10-11 Indy Report

Guys,
It was good to see and visit with many of you at the IMIS show. On Saturday Blake and I had lunch with the 3000 Hp guys, Jerry Smith, Judd Coffman, and Rick Coffman. I don't know about Blake, but I sorta' felt like I best shut my mouth and open my ears in their presense. Anyway, we had a good time.
The NHRA Div 3 awards banquet was Sat. night at the Sheraton, and one of our local "adopted sons" Bobby Small got his big Wally for winning the 2011 championship in the Jegs Super Quick 32 Series. Congratulations to Bobby! He was also nominated for Driver of the Year Award, and I think his parents, (Jacki and Shannon Small) have every reason to be proud of him.
