New member from Louisiana

Post  Alvin on December 12th 2011, 6:31 pm

New to this forum. I've been working with big block Fords since the late eighties. I port heads of all types for a living, both hand porting and cnc. I'm looking forward to hanging out here

Thanks for the hospitality guys. I was on the old forum for about ten years. In the last two or three years, I've been bowed up like a cutworm (Louisiana speak for working hard), and didn't spend much time on the site. When I returned, everyone that I remembered was gone. Perhaps someone could PM me and let me know what happened. Anyway, it's good to find you all over here.

Do you work at an automotive shop in the BR area? Welcome to the site.

In short, we all left when the other site got sold and commercialized... It's bad enough we have as many sub forumns over here, but the other site is terrible...

Actually, I have my own shop here in Baton Rouge. I hand port heads and my son flows them, digitizes them, and then ports them on the cnc. Drop by if you're in BR. If you like Big block Fords, I think you will be fascinated.
