Engine diapers
What brand are you using ?
Does it cause any heating problems ?
How would you describe the installation process ?
Anything else you can add to this discussion
Thanks,
John

Re: Engine diapers
Get a custom one made so that oil changes are easy, Keith and Bruce sherry has a very nice one made for there deal. On the other hand I opted for a belly pan

Re: Engine diapers
DRE made both of mine and did a nice job.
My 605 was a custom, made from a cardboard pattern that I sent Dennis.
The wet sump 514 just uses one of his off the shelf models.
No heat issues with either.
For oil changes, just unbuckle one end...no problems.
When the wrist pin broke in the 605 all coolant from one bank exited though a hole in the oil pan and side of block. Not a drop went on the track. The only damage was to my pride and wallet.
When you call DRE you speak to the man who makes your diaper.

I've got a champion on mine too. I like it ,and it no problem to take on and off, But I don't have a crossmember in the way.

Chassis cars w/no cross member are fairly easy w/all diapers.

Re: Engine diapers
I'll have to go look and see what brand the diaper is we bought for the small block car, its fits like ass......so bad in bad its collecting dust on a shelf.........The material looks great though, just don't fit for shyt.........
I threw a pan together for the 69, one day I'll cart a block and my pan.......lines, pump, etc all up to stroud and get a custom deal made.
