HOLES IN HEAD
Hey need input on this one.Got a set of trick flow heads and cleaning the runners up noticed holes in the top of intake runners,where they drilled thru for the rocker studs, how much loss is this going to be on flow.These will see most of there life on the street,but still want a good set of heads,should I expoy these shut. Will be on a 545 Any thoughts THANKS Dave

when you put the rocker studs in be sure the holes are oil free, apply a bit of red locktite to seal the threads and you are fine. No need to fill the hole.

Most heads have that not a problem as stated.

yea hopefully make it a lot quicker
should going from a 429 to 545

Make sure that you use Loc-Tite or some kind of thread sealant, because it will suck oil through each of those holes if you don't use anything at all.
