Yea Blake ... I am sure I am not alone in never being around there so, what is the "lay of the land" as far as places to stay and gather away from the track...? Is there camping at the track and do they have shower facilities...?

What IS the June date you have in mind and how will it all be set-up...? Will there be a whole day for test & tune..." Is the plan for some special Ford grudge races or simply part of the regular program...?

I know it is just in the planning stages but, these are some things to think about.

I know it sucks about the bash being cancelled but kinda erks me that some of the guys that are only 2-3 hours from Byron plan on going to this event but not mine I busted my ass to make the event happen for us northern guys last year and only about half the people that said they were coming actually showed up.

With another group would definitely help the car count. June is a crappy time for me though. Probably be in Canada but you never know in my line of work.

Wow thanks for the great response guys. I will have a ton of more info and questions soon. I just had my first meeting with the track guy Saturday afternoon.

This can be a three day deal if we want it to be. The motel list will be forth coming Russell (track operator) is getting that info together for me now, also there will be discounted rates for racers.

The plan so far is to have an all day T and T grudge racing. It's only 2 to 2 1/2 hrs farther than Windy, of coarse there comes a point where it is just to much to travel for some, I understand.

The date in June is the date the other Ford group is going to be there, if we end up not going with them, then we are free to get it when we want. If we get a big enough car count we can do our on deal.

It's funny I am having to gather info for both sides, Russell needs to know car count and about what classes we want and we need info from him on all different things and all the answers together from both sides are needed to make this deal come together.

There will be camping on site but I'm not sure about RV hook ups, I don't think they are, there are restrooms there though.

Red and I will be there from Thursday till it's over so it will be secure to leave your cars and trailers if needed.

Medics will be there also.
