NMRA ----Bowling Green ?

Anyone planning on going to the NMRA Finals at Bowling Green, Ky on Oct 4-7 ????

I have been in the past and had a great time The last 3 years it has been the same weekend as the IHRA Div 2 Finals. This year I didn't enter points, so no IHRA race for me.

Unless something changes I plan to be there along with Ward (Dr's Wife) and my friend Jeff Pounds (he had the white/blue sbf tube chassis Maverick at the Ford Thunder race in June)

The wife and I talked about it and we don't know. We've gone for the last 4 years but we might just go to Cruising the Coast early this year instead. It is a 24 hour round trip plus about $1000 in fuel and expenses just to visit a few members from the board. If I was a racer it might be a bit different but with my busy work year I won't have anything ready.

Made it to the semi's last year.

Planning on making it...but with work...who knows. I usually try to make it...but couldn't go last year. I love it though, and have a blast I just enter the bracket race...

Taking off the whole week.....

I'm not gonna race this year. I may drive down Friday to watch and hang out with some of you clowns :-). I'm running a half marathon that Sunday so I need to be ready for that.

Man I love Beech Bend Raceway . But I hate NMRA just as much. Would love to catch up w/ya'll sometime again though.

I plan on being there with my Pure Stocker Mustang if I don't blow it up at the IHRA race.

Just got back from BG today, but mother nature denied me a single run down Beech Bend's track.

Was hoping to get a handle on this new car before the World Finals.

I once got so angry with nmra at silver dollar in Ga. that I put NMRA SUCKS on the side of my car The Whole Side in Giant in letters took it to the line and made a pass. They called me out and we got our problem sorted out. Ya'll come on out we'll have a good time hanging out

1 week away.

I finally got some decent runs in at Beech Bend last weekend, so I feel better about the Mustang at that track.

Looking forward to seeing fellow 429-460 board members there.
