New from Ohio

Hi all,

New to forum. Not new to the 385 series. My name is Nate and I own a 1980 hatch with a 429. Also have a well set up 89 notch which will be a big block after I blow up the small block. I love to learn and like feedback on posts, goid or bad. That's how I learn. Look forward to meeting most of you.

I live in central Ohio, Delaware is the town. I havnt been on a strip since I was a kid in a 69 camaro, so I may need some pointers and reminders. Lol.

I'm in a good spot to get to several strips. I've got a buddy I've been going to various places lately. He's got an 8.70 street bike. Years ago I hit a 9.90 on a stock gsxr 750 but got kicked cause I didn't have my 9's credentials. Lol, I didn't think I'd hit that fast. I'd like to get my 89 notch into the high 9's with a big block. I'm saving now for that motor. I'll build the 80 to 500 horse or so max as its a full interior and drives well on the street.

I'll actually write that into my calendar. I won't have a car as I sold my diesel, so will be trolling for a truck before long. Would love to meet some of you. I belong to the "other" site as well and there's good knowledge there but virtually no fun or comradery there. Even an introduction post nets nill response. Norwalk is probably 2 hours from me, or so. Maybe 1.5 if push it.

We can all use help in some way so come and make yourself at home w/us. I have a city cop friend here in jackson that races a 68 tube chassis Ford pu w/BBF.
