Tire diameter?

What is the determining factors when deciding what diameter racing slick to install? At this point of the build, I can put any ring and pinion in the 8.8 that I want and pretty much any diameter. I am limited to an overall tire width of about 20 inches. Motor will be in the 700hp range and the trans will be a c6. I am going to shoot for 3600lbs in the truck with me in it if those things are factored into the diameter decision.

Generally the biggest, tallest thing that will fit inside the wheel well.
