Maverick rear roof/fender lines are always great for the big tire/low slam stance. Tons & tons of room to push a wheel tub & slick way the hell up in there.

Yep. The tubs just touch the bottom of the quarter windows.

That old monkey does a few other tricks, too. You guys will like the fact that I can have the slicks off that car in under 5 minutes. I built in a hinge/pivot arrangement that attaches the body to the chassis at the forward end of the rocker panels. I unlock the rear body mounts and switch on a tiny onboard air compressor. It only takes about 25 psi for a pair of aluminum air cylinders to raise the of the body clear of the slicks and rear suspension. When I bleed off the air, the body slowly goes back to rest on the mounts. It required a little creativity on the interior tin, but unless I point it out, nobody notices.

Thanks, Nick. No sweat on the 'glide thing. As I said, it survived a lot of previous abuse. Being rebuilt now. I'll holler before the next trip to the track to see if you can be there.
