avg llife span on a alum rod in a pulling motor

of course i will need to check them after every season
but i am wondering what is a avg life span on them in a pulling truck
that runs 8,000 rpm's for 300+ft in a pulling truck
or is billit they way to go
i currently run billit rods but as wondering about alum

aluminum rods have come along way ... i have never seen a rod break ...just the bolts/bearings fail ..... its hard to put a life span on any race part ...... Very Happy

I'd also think alot would depend on manufacture and the material and treatment process used, Not all aluminum rods are created equal.

Maybe Brett Powel will get on here an make some suggestions.

I've never broke an aluminum rod as of yet!!!!!!( knock on wood!!) and my 600 has been spun to 9300 and higher when needed!! and thats with a 250-300 run cycle and then I put them in a street motor!! and they live there forever!!
