Was working a few miles NE of Bray today. Weird feeling in the air as we kept watching the sky behind us. I left at 2:15 and not a minute too soon. Have a pic of tornado to south of me as was coming into Marlow to hit 81 north. Niece and her family lost their home in Moore this afternoon. Horrible mess, my heart is heavy for all the people who have been devastated by this storm.

the bray storm was the one we were on, briefly saw a rainwrapped cone as it crossed I35 near Pauls Valley.

for the life of me I wish our storm would have been the one that hit Moore, is was in open country.....

what happened there is horrible, Im just now getting the scope of it and its sobering.......

looks like it'll be slow to get here but the tornado watch is on in east TN already. this shit makes spring time suck!

Shit just saw on the news 51 killed and 20 kids..... Shit that's terrible.

not confirmed but what Im reading the kids were in a basement and they got trapped by debris, it flooded and they drowned........

NOAA had outlooks on their fb page and site about fears of kids in school when theses storms would hit.......

Glad to see you are alright Jon. ^^^^^^^^^ This makes it even worse to think the kids possibly survived the tornado only to meet there demise by drowning while being trapped. I can't imagine what went through there minds .......... It would also be very hard as a parent to even contiune on in life for me if I lost a child that way.

Jon, that pic was taken by another welder I was working with that lives in Marlow. That pic was taken on the east side of Marlow, a couple miles south. Blacktop running south just east of last curve going east out of Marlow. That pic was taken within minutes of me passing through there.

Unless you,ve stood in the path of where one of the huge ones F4 F5 you can't get a understanding of the power they have.I was on the ground in Tusc. Al when those came thru. In less than a hour after they were gone .People stlll traped ecx. You can't describe it.Pictures don't do the destruction justice.The difference in seeing pictures and being there is as big as watching a top fuel car on espn and having a seat at the starting line.
Glad y'all are ok Jon.That storm took alot of lives and changed alot of lives forever. God Bless all those effected by the storm.
