the coil-over shocks and springs  came with the kit i bought, no one knew what the rate is etc, but for what i gave for it $$ it was a steal, once i get car running ill get a good weight on front and rear and order some good shock and springs, if i cant get it to hook guess ill get out the cutting torch, i ran 11.70 on 26x6 inch slicks

Why not use the Cleveland heads? the valley pans are cheap, and with the shock towers gone you have enough room?

Budget build and he already has his heads and that would require a different intake too ! That would be a good set up if he was starting from scratch.

falcon is getting a full update, i was not happy with the way the weld and install of the roll bar and ladders bars turned out..word to people that try to go cheap..DO NOT DO IT...just pay the $$ to a professional and have it done right, it is now cost me 3-4 times as much $ to have it redone

i have to decide what motor i want, i am wanting to get back into the local heads up stock block stuff , they have a class for my car now, option 1 is use my 393w but car has to be 3200 lbs because of the C.I and im on alcohol, and small block can use aftermarket heads option 2 is build a 466 BBF ,but have to use factory iron heads again car has to be 3200 lbs or option 3 is build a 306 sbf and because its under 321 ci the car can weight what ever it is and that will be 2400-2500 lbs with me in the car

John, Dart block with 4.125 bore, 3" crank, best heads you can afford. Spin it to the moon, oh by the way that works out to 320.7 cu.in.

I've got a new Eagle 4340 3.100 crank left over from a project never done - that would put it in the 3-teens Cool

The only forged factory crank was boss 302 - I think I have one in a core boss block. Also have 3.100 stroker ass'y -cast offset stock crank, Eagle 5.400 rods (2.00 chevy journal) and Ross flattops. This was the assembly that the steel crank was purchased for, then the customer said "nevermind, now I want a 347".
