Hi Guys,
I just tore my jet boat engine down and decided to rebuild it. Its a stock crank, stock rods with ARP bolts, 4.440 SRP pistons, D3VE heads with studs/guideplates. About 4 of the pistons are messed up. It was the previous owner as I never dropped a valve.
Just wondering if I should just replace 4 pistons or go with a stroker kit from someone on the forum. 4 replacement pistons are bout $400. Already have a block prepped and bored for 4.440 pistons. Also, my brother has a set of DOVE-Cs that I could possibly trade for.
Wondering where my money will be used most wisely.
Thanks!
