I'll be coming south this winter as my sister and her husband have a little winter shack just outside Palm Springs that they go to during the winter ,it's only 6500 sq/ft ? lol . and I need to come down and visit Uncle Charlie !!! this winter will be plane rides and rental cars !!

Is that Palm Springs California? We know some snowbirds that go there every winter but they don't have a 6500 sq ft shack. lol

Yeap CA , My sister and him own a road construction company that does $20- $30 million in contracts a year !!He's 59 and wants to retire !! there out of Edmonton ,Alberta

Palm Springs is only a couple hours from me. Whats even funnier is my family lives in MT, just a couple hours from the Canadian border, and Calgary is 6 hours away, I believe.

The real question is, will Canada let you back in once you leave?

When I bought my Cobra in Ca we stopped there on the drive back and spent the night. There is a lot of snowbird communities there. It seemed like windy desert to me but I could see that being more appealing than shoveling snow.
