Big Tube Headers? Where to Buy Empty Big Tube Headers? Where to Buy

Post  bronco911 August 15th 2014, 11:52 pm

Anybody know where I can find some 2-1/4 or larger headers for sale (in stock) ?? Need outside of frame, can't tell if the Hedmans that summit carries will work or not.
Thanks, Ray

IMO your in the custom zone..... The Fab Shop is a great header builder.

You may find a kit from one of the header companies that you can adapt if you want to build you own.

Ever look into? Made in MI, and know to mod existing part #'s to suit custom needs. My next set will be from them.

Thanks David, I am running late in the game right now with my whole motor switch over by the 23rd, so am trying to find something that I can make work in an accelerated time frame.  Embarassed
I am seeing A LOT of custom fab work going on over the next several days, so trying to eliminate a little

I talked with the guys at mad dog last week, they are 4-5 weeks out on orders, otherwise they would be on order already. (45 mins from my door)
I HOPEFULLY have something brewing with Randy,  but thank you all for the input.
Going to start a new build thread tomorrow for the race truck, so you guys keep your eyes peeled and feel free to chime in with input or criticism  Wink

Thanks, Ray

Schoenfeld makes a dyno / sprint car type large tube header; if you really have all the room in the world.

I got my 2 1/8" to 2 1/4" step headers for the dyno from them; (with Cobra Jet flanges).
