1/4 turn valve leaking

i noticed pressure in the line Friday night by randomly hitting the purge.the valve was off and had been bled off after the run.i know the valve is not new it probably has 200 runs of use.is this common for the valves to go bad this quick?

I had it happen to mine, sent it back to IS and they took care of it.
