Winter Build Plans Anyone??

I'm looking at ways to shed some more pounds.

New converter,new dash,new brake pads,and a few other (go faster mods).

I need to insulate my shop. It's cooooooold out there. I don't mind, but you know, Ellen IS a girl after all.

Spend money on the building so we can spend money on the cars.....

87 mustang build Tubular K member ,8in converter ,C-clip eliminators, some NOS, and lose some weight
64 Fairlane re do rollcage move front end back on in lower car and get it ready for new motor and trans.
2 68 ford torino builds
To many projects no time no money!

Installing more cam, still flat tappet though. Trans is at Jay's (Broader Performance) for upgrades/checkout/ and a brake. Modified front crossmember for more pan clearance. General maintenance stuff - wnen not moving snow.

Hopefully get this hat on the Tbird!!

I was able to finish up the 521 last weekend...now to finsh the 460 swap in the 65 fairlane for the street...ignition,driveshaft,windshield to install...then the new chassis for the 65 in my avatar..it gets the 521

just put a new master cyclinder on today,now to change windshield to lexan,new gauges,new slicks,new brake pads on the front and repack wheel bearing,thinking about going to 4.30 gears just depends on wicth slicks I decide to get.

Well here go's
Neil & Parks car. New starting line enhancer, new scoop tray and mounts to fit the starting line controller, E85 conversion,Some kind of wideband Lamda sensor, new graphic's. For now, could change by spring


Cameron 4 Link (NEW CAR). Fixed the tranny, Fix the pinion seal leak,fix the brakes (residual valve sticks) pull the center section have it reset up (hard to turn beside brake valve),starting line enhancer, scoop tray and scoops, Complete rebuild of dash (powder coating too) and REWIRE (kids knees hit it had to sell the Mega 450 box for a Dedenbear), E85 conversion once we get a few runs under our belt in this car. New graphic's as well to match other car

We have 3 drivers for 2 cars so we got an extra scoop and will have the ability to change the scoop to have their number when they race
Next get the trailer ready to haul the 2 dragsters Never get a trailer with a beaver tail it sucks. Thanks to Chris Barker @ Barker trailer Sales screwed that up for me. we have to build some kind of 2 piece ramp because the last car will sit on the beaver tail and the rails and body panels will hit the floor

66 Mustang I'm hoping to due the E85 conversion as well but I hate to spin this thing so hard because it has stock rods. This f**king CI cam isn't what I really wanted. He wants me to spin this little turd to 8500 rpm's

Hopefully I'll get the 514 lit off by year's end and have it in the dragster too. after that I just need to get my paws on a shorty glide and hit the track.

We'll also try to do some powdercoating to some dragtser parts and hopefully wrap the thing too...

I am getting all the parts together to build a 572 for my mud truck with parts thanks to Lem,Jon K and Charlie. Hope it turns out as good as the other 572 P51 headed engine that were built by the guys on this site.

I guess I'll have to put the mustang on steroids for the summer.

Got the motor together for the kids truck now gotta put it in after we go thru the transmission. He turns 15 next month so it would be a cool b-day gift for him to drive it around the block. Hope to order heads and a few other parts from Lem, then my fun begins Also helping the kid next door with his chebby p/u that he somehow managed to put two rods through the block, wants big block. Told him to get a 454 and bore it .030 so he can at least say he has a 460. Not too much just lots of waiting on $$$$.

First for both of us.
no previous marriages, no previous kids. we're the minority.
Project to be completed April 22.

AS SOON as i can get caught up ,and have room im going to try to work on my stuff,

so whats everyone doing this year ?

New rearend housing, stronger axles, wider lighter rear rims, new ladder bars, hotter ignition, better rocker arms and studs, new intake............few other odds n ends, nothing major......

Wax, fresh air in the tires, charge the battery, chassis sticker, new belts, sweep trailer, pray for work and for time off from work.

Dragster together and running, Mustang back together and painted, Start on either a Street Rod or maybe a Cobra kit car.

Survive Saudi Arabia...... with a pocket full of Cabbage and build more toys !!!

Planning on changing my front end out and putting a lighter one under it trying to get the little truck under 3000 with me in it.
